  THE BENEFITS       In extreme cases of wall tie corrosion, the outer wall may have to be pulled down and rebuilt. The Mac Frame Cramp provides an easily fixed secondary wall tie, with the Mac expander used in conjunction with a stainless steel cramp.The expander is mechanically set in the inner leaf of the wall and the cramp has an elongated hole which allows for adjustment in the vertical plane. The Mac Frame Cramp is manufactured from A2, 300 series, austenitic stainless steel.

DRILL
Drill 12mm diameter hole in brickwork, setting depth gauge on drilling machine, to give 40-50mm hole depth in inner leaf Blow out hole.


SET MAC EXPANDER
10mm AF socket on to torque wrench and set expander by tightening bolt until pre-set is reached.
