CRACKTIE

Attension is drawn in the case of cavity walls to the need for transverse wall ties to be introduced where the outer reinforced leaf is required to support the inner loaded leaf of the wall. In many cases, it will be necessary to utilise the REDIFIX Truss System of wall tie to ensure adequate load transfer. If both leafs are reinforced, then only normal cavity ties such as the MACTIE will be required.
